How to Flash ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser



A ROM in terms of the Android OS is the OS interface, including apps and firmware that have been loaded into the read-only memory of the device. Users can change this firmware and interface by changing or updating the ROM. This process is called ‘flashing a ROM’. During flashing, users load the new ROM in a manner similar to installing manual updates to the device. This installation is done through a recovery. Today ASUS Zenfone Blog will teach you How to Flash ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser.
 
Preparing tools :
  1. ASUS USB Driver ( Download Here )
  2. ADB Fastboot Tool (Download Here)
  3. Asus Zenfone 2 Laser Firmware (Stock ROM Here / Firmware ZE500KL / Firmware ZE550KL) -> Choose OS Android > Firmware and rename to file.zip

Steps:


  1. Turn off your zenfone 2 Laser
  2. Go to recovery mode (Tutorial Here)
  3. Select apply update from ADB 
  4. Connect your Zenfone 2 Laser with USB Cable to your PC/laptop
  5. Open command prompt in Windows (in the same folder where ADB is located)
  6. Check connection by type adb devices if connection successful will be a list of zenfone 2 laser device
  7. Type adb sideload file.zip (file.zip=adjust the filename, asus zenfone firmware that you download earlier)
  8. Wait until the process is complete
  9. Zenfone 2 will flash to clean thoroughly

How to Enter Recovery Mode, Wipe Cache and Wipe Data on ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser

 
Zenfone 2 Laser Recovery Mode

What is recovery?  In Android, recovery refers to the dedicated, bootable partition that has the recovery console installed.  A combination of key presses (or instructions from a command line) will boot your phone to recovery, where you can find tools to help repair (recover) your installation as well as install official OS updates.

Entering Recovery Mode

  1. Turn off your zenfone 2 laser/selfie
  2. After Completely turn off Press Volume Down + Power, and there will be Recovery Mode
  3. Power button to choose and Volume up/down to move highlight

Wipe Data


  1. Enter Recovery Mode
  2. Choose wipe data/factory reset
  3. This action will remove all data from your device

Wipe Cache

  1. Enter Recovery Mode
  2. Choose Wipe cache partition
  3. This action will remove phone cache

      Quickly, in this article, you are going to efficiently learn how to install cyanogenmod 12.1 Android on ASUS Zenfone 4.       How to Install CyanogenMod 12.1 on ASUS Zenfone 4 :

      1. Make sure your Zenfone 4 firmware is the latest 7.3.3
