Samsung has begun rolling out Kitkat for its Galaxy Note 8.0 lineup. The first ROM has been released for the POLAND region. Eventually it will be released in all regions (IMHO), but for those who cant wait, below is the link to download for the GT-N5100 version. Instructions
01. Extract (unzip) the firmware file
02. Download Odin v3.09
03. Extract Odin zip-file
04. Open Odin v3.09
05. Reboot phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
06. Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
07. Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
08. Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
09. Click the start button, sit back and wait a few minutes
