iPad Mini vs Nexus 7 Drop Test

Apple has launched its new iPad tablet labeled iPad Mini. And here it is be expected that this product will directly challenge the tablet in its class that has been circulating, the Kindle Fire and Google Nexus 7.

Well, AndroidAuthority, try comparing the two tablets: iPad Mini versus Nexus 7. Only, testing conducted fairly extreme, namely physical test by dropping two tablets on a hard floor. Absolutely crazy!

The purpose of the test is of course to prove the physical strength of the two tablets. It is useful to know the condition of the tablet when suppose we accidentally dropped the devices.

A series of tests applied to the iPad Mini and Nexus 7, recorded on video. In the first test, iPad Mini and Nexus 7 dropped from a height of about 2 feet to the landing position of the first part of the corner. As a result, the iPad Mini small dent in the corner, but the screen is still intact and still functioning. While the Nexus 7 was destroyed in the corner, where there is a plastic piece off, but is still able to function.

In the second test, the two devices were dropped to the rear of the landing position. iPad Mini cracked screen, but can still be turned on. For Nexus 7 condition crack, peel the protective cover screen and wide open. And, he could not be revived.

For the third test, both of which were dropped by the position of the screen facing down. As a result, fixed iPad Mini cracked screen but still able to function. Instead, Nexus 7 fractured and chipped the screen and unusable or damaged.

Seeing the footage, it can be concluded that at least on paper is a mini iPad tablet are strong enough, which was wrapped in a protective layer of hard aluminum material.
