Reliance Jio MD Mukesh Ambani made a surprise announcement earlier this month, saying the free data incentive offered by the company would be extended by three months for its patrons.
Reliance Jio's inaugural free welcome offer was supposed to end on December 31 2016, but with the launch of the Happy New Year offer, consumers can now enjoy high-speed internet for free until March 31 2017.
