Xiaomi on Tuesday officially released the new version of the custom interface for its range of smartphones, the MIUI 8. The latest version is combination of colors which changes according to the weather. At the same launch event, Xiaomi also launched Xiaomi Mi Max 6.44-inch Android phablet, which is the first company device to be shipped with MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Xiaomi has officially announced that the latest MIUI 8 ROM will be announced on May 8 and the Xiaomi Max will be the first smartphone to ship with MIUI8. The previous ROMs of the company- the MIUI 7 and MIUI 6 were launched on August 13th 2015 and 2016 respectively.
Many users got disappointed for being on the same Android version even after updating to latest MIUI 7 Global stable ROM. Even the Mi4, the company flagship device remained to Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS after installing MIUI 7. Let’s wait and watch, what Xiaomi brings with MIUI 8 update.
